Another highlight is the famous Merchants' Bridge (Krämerbrücke). With a length of 120 meters and 32 houses, it is one of the longest completely built-up and inhabited bridges in Europe. After visiting this medieval monument, you can enjoy a tasting of regional chocolate at the Goldhelm chocolate factory. Another highlight: With the medieval buildings of the Old Synagogue, Mikveh and “Stone House”, the Jewish-Medieval Heritage has held the title of “UNESCO World Heritage Site” since September 2023.

And don't be surprised by the colorful hustle and bustle in the city: On June 14, Erfurt's largest city festival begins: the Krämerbrückenfest (Merchants' Bridge Festival).
